Quinta is recovering (3).

Sunday in Japan (big election day here). After casting my vote, I went to the animal hospital to visit Quinta. When I came into the room, he smiled and wagged his tail. He did not get up, but when I took out today’s snack (sliced apples), he immediately stood up and hopped over for his treat. The doctor says that Quinta slowly seems to be getting used to being on three legs. We expect Quinta to come home either Tuesday or Wednesday. The cats, especially the little one, seem to be looking for Quinta around the house and wondering where he is. They (and I) will be delighted to welcome him home soon.

  1. I sure can see why everyone–including the cats–miss that magnificant Brave Qunta! His mug just oozes with gentleness and sweetness!

I know you are so proud of your boy!! And he will even be doing better once he comes home! In just a short while…..if ot already…he won’t even remember he had a fourth leg–or why!!

Okay ow, he’s had your dad’s tomatoes, yor blueberries and now sliced apples! Is it safe to assume he’s pooping just fine??:-) 🙂

We’re using all our “tripawd power” to hurry up and get him home by Tuesday!! Come on vets—let him come home!!

Look forward to your update tomorrow. Can’t wait to see what’s on his menu!

Hang in there!! This is all for the better!

  2. Hoppy Election Day! I hope your candidate wins. We’ll have to watch the news to read about it here in the states.

Quinta, it sure does sound like you have a great Labby appetite. But wow what great foods you eat! With a diet like that you will stay hoppy and strong for a very long time.

We have our fingers and paws crossed that you get to go home on Tuesdy!
